While shopping for depression glass with my sister, we always overheard people in antique shops saying things like "Oh
my grandma used to have those." or "That's the pattern mom got when she was married." or "Aunt Julia brought some of those
over with her in 1922 when she emigrated." When we began our buisness we chose FAMILY STORIES ANTIQUES because family stories
is what we'd heard people telling.
My sister Carol Wilson is my buisness partner and as a technical support specialist has the computer skills to manage
inventory and keep the books. I do most of the merchandise selection and buying after studying glassware manufacturers and
patterns for a decade. Carol says that my goal in life is to reunite everyone with thier pattern.
